Video Shows Knife-wielding Moped Thugs Steal Necklaces in South London

"sterling silver wholesale direct"This is the moment knife-wielding moped thugs stole four gold necklaces from the throats of two women during a violent robbery. Footage shows a woman scream as a man dressed in black and wearing a white helmet pounce from the rear of a moped with a knife in hand during the south London attack. An armed man then jumps from the vehicle to hold back one of the men who ran to the women’s defence, as the necklaces are ripped from around their necks. Two men – including one in his 70s – used shopping bags to fight off the attackers during the incident in Thornton Heath, Croydon, yesterday afternoon. The ‘shocking’ robbery was also described as ‘sadly not unusual’ by neighbours. The 45-second clip was filmed from a nearby house and shows the victims cower behind a wall as the gang speed off. She told the Standard: ‘My husband came rushing in and said there had been a commotion before an ambulance arrived and a man was wheeled out of the house opposite with bandages round his head. The man holding a knife beckoned two others parked on another moped in the a video seen by the Evening Standard. Police said the man in his 70s was injured after being thrown on the ground and was taken to hospital with minor head injuries. A spokesman for Scotland Yard said police are looking for three white men and one black man, all of whom were wearing helmets during the attack. Detectives in Croydon are appealing for information and witnesses after two women were robbed at knife-point of their gold necklaces in Thornton Heath. It’s shocking but it’s not unusual for round here. One woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, said her husband told her about the incident after rushing away from the aftermath. There have been a lot of muggings recently, and a lot of young men getting stabbed.

It’s heartbreaking because we know she was left in the cold, on her own.

"wholesale sterling silver charm adult cuff bracelet"Erika wrote: ‘I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of one of my closest friends, Jade, who has recently lost her mum. Jade told earlier this week how ‘heartbroken’ she felt, knowing her mother was in the restaurant’s disabled toilet while people there were eating and drinking. Although she faced many challenges and made many mistakes during her addiction, Sabrina didn’t deserve to pass away the way she did. Despite the many mistakes Sabrina made in her life, she was a mother, a daughter, a sister, and more. Erika said in her GoFundMe appeal how Jade wanted to honour her mother with ‘the compassion and respect that was often missing during her lifetime and give her the funeral she deserves’. Jade said: ‘There weren’t any drugs at the scene and CCTV footage showed her entering the building on the Thursday. Our thoughts are with her loved ones at this time. Erika wrote: ‘Sabrina told Jade how much she loved her, and Jade held onto hope that this time things might change. I’m angry because she could have been found sooner, they should have done the usual toilet checks. A Blackpool Council spokesperson said: ‘Our public protection team has recently been made aware of this tragic death. We think she broke into the disabled toilet – we think she picked the lock to get in so she didn’t have to ask for a key. Tragically, Sabrina didn’t get better in time. Jade has spent a lifetime wondering if this day would come, but nothing can truly prepare you for that devastating phone call or the overwhelming experience she is going through. She was released from prison on Wednesday without Jade’s knowledge and sadly passed away in a public bathroom the following day. It’s heartbreaking because we know she was left in the cold, on her own. Officers attended and sadly the body of a woman in her 40s was found dead inside the address. She said: ‘The police have told us that customers were complaining that they couldn’t get into the toilet, but they assumed something had happened with the lock. Sabrina struggled with addiction throughout her life. And in a Facebook tribute addressing her mother, Jade wrote: ‘Despite what anyone might think they know about you, you were intelligent, you made everyone laugh, and you had a good heart and beautiful soul buried beneath all the trauma and addiction. Jade said that CCTV footage showed Sabrina entering the restaurant on November 28 last year and going into the disabled toilet. I know she was dead but it’s the fact she was there while people were eating and drinking. Jade added: ‘She suffered with addiction and she was in and out of homelessness for the last 25 years but she was a really nice person. They then opened up the disabled toilet and found her on the Saturday morning. A Lancashire Police spokesperson said: ‘We were called at shortly after 1pm on Saturday, November 30 to a report of a sudden death at an address on Waterloo Road in Blackpool. She was a person, a person who was in pain and dealt with that pain as best as she could. She described how Jade had spoken to her mother three weeks before her death, telling how Sabrina was ‘determined to get sober again’. Jade, from Fleetwood in Lancashire, also paid tribute to her mother – hailing her as a ‘really nice person’ who was ‘funny and kind’.

Collingwood’s boom recruit Dan Houston already has teammates licking their lips at the prospect of dining out on his silver service throughout the AFL season. High-profile trade acquisition Houston starred on his Magpies debut, being arguably best afield in the 91-point round-one thrashing of his former club Port Adelaide. The two-time All-Australian had 27 disposals, 10 intercept possessions, six score involvements and five inside-50s in a tremendous display. Marking targets Mihocek, Dan McStay and Tim Membrey combined for 10 of Collingwood’s 17 goals against Port Adelaide and loom as serious threats against the Bulldogs. Magpies forward Brody Mihocek told AAP. Off-season recruit Membrey kicked four, taking his tally to five in two games for the Magpies since he was delisted by St Kilda at the end of last season. Mihocek said a revamped forward line would relish Houston’s laser-like delivery as they seek to fire Collingwood back into premiership contention. You know when he’s got the ball that something good is going to happen. It set a high bar ahead of Collingwood’s round-two clash with the Western Bulldogs at the MCG on Friday night. The Bulldogs are always going to be tough and they’re always fit, so we can expect that from them.

AMSTERDAM, March 9 (Reuters) – A Dutch historian found a unique 1,000-year-old medieval golden treasure, consisting of four golden ear pendants, two strips of gold (pop over to these guys) leaf and 39 silver – My Source – coins, the Dutch National Museum of Antiquities (Rijksmuseum van Oudheden) announced on Thursday. By that time the jewellery was already two centuries old, the museum said, adding it must already have been “an expensive and cherished possession”. Lorenzo Ruijter, 27, who told Reuters he has been treasure hunting since he was 10, discovered the treasure in 2021 in the small northern city of Hoogwoud, using a metal detector. While it will remain a mystery why exactly the treasure was buried, the museum pointed out there was a war raging between Dutch regions West Friesland and Holland in the middle of the 13th century, with Hoogwoud being the epicentre. Lorenzo said it is possible someone powerful at the time buried the valuable objects as a way to protect them and hopefully dig them up once it was safe again. But experts of the National Museum of Antiquities needed the time to clean, investigate and date the treasure’s objects and have now found that the youngest coin can be dated back to around 1250, which made them assume the treasure was buried then. Ruijter said, adding that it was hard to keep it a secret for two years. Given its archaeological significance, the treasure was given as a loan to the museum which will display it, but it will remain the official property of finder Lorenzo Ruijter.

Cheltenham revellers were snapped getting into the spirit of things yesterday – with some racegoers spotted chugging booze out of some rather interesting containers. Mail Sport revealed earlier this week that racing fans were left reeling after Cheltenham bosses hiked the price of Guinness on the racecourse by 30p, making a pint £7.80. But these revellers got creative in order to avoid expensive drink prices at the racecourse, opting for their covert drinkware. Some drinkers were snapped openly quaffing from hips flasks, including one lady who drank from hers while watching the action from the stands. Perhaps the most unexpected way to beat the high prices and sneak booze into an event comes in the form of a fake tampon. But for others, fake binoculars are hairbrush are impressive ways to avoid sky high drinks prices at events – but they are far from the only options when it comes to imaginatively-shaped flasks. A video from 2019 shows one woman also using a binocular-shaped flask as she took surreptitious sips of what was presumably an alcoholic beverage. However, appearances are deceptive, and the small quilted silver purse is actually designed to secretly stash drinks. One woman was photographed drinking from a flask shaped like a hairbrush, while another, who appeared to be in the same group, opted for a flask shaped like a pair of binoculars. It isn’t the first time racegoers have been spotted using covert ways to bring their own drinks into the event. Among the other options available for those keen to save money when attending events are flasks which look just like umbrellas – but are actually bottles. 10 out of 10 for effort on this! And finally, there are also flasks which are shaped like cameras, but are in fact, empty, so that would-be revellers can fill them up with the tipple of their choice. Those who don’t want to tote a fake umbrella around with them may prefer another option – what looks like a neat little clutch bag. What looks like the handle of an umbrella is actually the bottle lid, and the body of the flask is concealed within what looks like an umbrella sleeve. It came yesterday, during day two of the four-day racing event, which has faced some criticism from attendees over the cost of drinks. Wrapped in a sleeve and carried in a cardboard box which says tampons on it, so it looks just like one of the sanitary objects, the item is actually a small bottle – excellent for secreting drinks. A premium lager costs 40p less than a Guinness at £7.40, while the alcohol free version of the Irish stout is valued at the same price. Those looking for something even more subtle could try out another nifty item – fake tubes of what look like sunscreen – but are also secret flasks.
